For years Mimi was obsessed with burlesque. The costumes, the glamour, the empowerment. Finally in 2017 she plucked up the courage to audition for House Of Kittens and in November as part of their show 'Menagerie' she performed her first ever strip. Liberated and keen to progress, in 2018 she successfully auditioned and started working for renowned troupe The Folly Mixtures and soon created and performed her first solo act 'Shes A Lady'.

Falling head over heels with the art of the tease, Mimi has gone on to perform across the globe in beautiful venues in St Tropez to Las Vegas, but treading the boards in some of the most infamous venues in London such as Cafe De Paris will always have her heart.

Some of Mimi's favourite moments from her career so far include; performing at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Festival with the Folly Mixtures, competing for Best Large Troupe; being cast as a 60s burlesque dancer in Edgar Wrights feature film Last Night In Soho; performing infant of a 1200 strong audience with An Evening Of Burlesque in Plymouth; and producing her first ever show DUSK Cabaret at Metropolis in East London.

 

 Mimis passion for burlesque is evident in her teaching work, with several of her students being inspired to do other courses, 121 classes and even going on to perform burlesque themselves!
